Tisza Enters the DMI Index at Position 22. Among Europe’s Best-Ranked Governing Parties.

On April 12, 2026, Tisza won Hungary’s parliamentary elections with 53.6 percent of the vote, ending sixteen years of Fidesz rule. As a new entry in the DMI Index, the party lands at #22 out of 203 parties across all 27 EU member states. Tier 1: Top Performance.

At that position, Tisza sits alongside Estonia’s Social Democrats, the Austrian Greens, Romania’s USR and Latvia’s Progressives, and just above Germany’s SPD and CDU/CSU. It is the only governing party in Central and Eastern Europe ranked in Tier 1.
